When the doors open and close
Casino of the Rockies opens at 11 am every day. From Sunday to Thursday it closes at 11 pm. On Friday and Saturday it stays open until 1 am, two hours later. The schedule is the same in every month of the year, including November to March, when the golf course is closed.
Cranbrook keeps Mountain time all year. That is the same clock as Alberta and one hour ahead of most of British Columbia. Holiday hours are not published separately. Check them on casinooftherockies.ca before planning a holiday evening.

The floor
What the floor holds
Casino of the Rockies has no live table games. Its floor holds 210 slot machines. Among them are E-Roulette, E-Baccarat and E-Blackjack, known as electronic tables. Each is a table game played on a machine with a screen, rather than at a live table. Quartz terminals run up to eight games each, so one seat offers several choices.
The PROLINE Sportsbook Lounge is in the casino restaurant. A sportsbook is a place to bet on sports results. Its 18-foot screen shows up to six games at once, so several games can run side by side. Bets go through three PROLINE terminals.
Beyond the slots, the casino has a pool table and a full-service lottery centre.

What applies inside
- Age 19 is the line, and photo ID issued by a government is shown on every visit; staff may also ask for a second piece.
- Proper attire is required, which includes a shirt and shoes.
- Food and drinks from outside stay out, and a drink bought on the gaming floor stays there instead of going into the lobby.
- For smokers there is a pit inside the casino, plus marked spots outdoors around the resort.
- Encore Rewards, BCLC's card for BC casinos, is free at Guest Services.

- 1Can a 19th birthday be celebrated inside?
- Yes, once the guest has turned 19. Entry is for people 19 or older, and government-issued photo ID is shown at every visit. A guest who is still 18 cannot go in.
- 2Is there a screen for watching sports?
- The PROLINE Sportsbook Lounge in the casino restaurant has an 18-foot screen. It shows up to six games at once, and bets go through three PROLINE terminals.
- 3What happens to a drink at the lobby door?
- The drink stays on the gaming floor. Alcohol does not go into the lobby, so it is finished or left inside before stepping out.
