November to March without golf

What stays open in winter
The resort and the casino are open year-round. The golf course and the RV park close for the winter, since both run April through October. The hotel keeps its outdoor heated pool open all year, along with hot tubs, a sauna and a fitness centre.
Winter does not change the casino's clock. Doors open at 11 am daily and close at 11 pm from Sunday through Thursday, or at 1 am after Friday and Saturday; for a holiday, look at casinooftherockies.ca. The Snack Shack and the 19th Hole, the golf clubhouse bar and grill, publish only golf-season hours, so a winter plan should not count on them.

A winter day at the resort
Breakfast at Numa Lounge & Dining, the resort restaurant in the Mission building, runs every day from 7 am to 11 am. From Monday to Friday, the Ktunaxa Interpretive Centre in the same building opens 9 am to 4:30 pm. Tours are booked in advance. It is closed on weekends.
The casino opens at 11 am every day. Numa serves dinner 5 pm to 9:30 pm, Wednesday to Sunday. Kiʔsuʔk k̓ikiⱡ, Ktunaxa for "good food", serves any day from 11 am, on a raised area above the gaming floor. Its kitchen runs until 11 pm on Friday and Saturday. From Sunday to Thursday, a table after 10 pm is best confirmed by phone at 250-417-2772.
The building
The building and its owners
The resort building was once the St. Eugene Mission residential school. Now the Ktunaxa First Nation owns and operates the resort. The owners are four Ktunaxa communities and the Kenpesq't (Shuswap Indian Band), together known as St. Eugene Mission Holdings Limited.
Inside the Mission building, the Ktunaxa Interpretive Centre is run by the Ktunaxa Nation Council. It is open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4:30 pm. Visitors who want a tour book it in advance.
